After my Early B'dae Celeb, Hubby and I went down to Mariott Hotel to look for his brother and cousin for the new year countdown.
We dabao-ed Mac upstairs as they're going to have free flow of booze.
There was some celebration at the first floor of the hotel, full of ang-mohs. And the security was kinda strict, but we weren't stopped at all, instead his brother told us he was actually stopped and asked to produce his room key when he was returning to his hotel room. *LOL
Michael and his kids were there before us and were watching HBO while the men were busy chatting and catching up while sipping their wine.
They're really crazy and addicted to alcohol. There's wine and beer and really loads of them for the consumption of only 3 people. Plus gambling. Typical men's gathering.
When the clock strikes 12, we could also see some little fireworks from the Marina Sqaure side right from his hotel room's window! This is just so cool la, coz we no need to go down there and squeeze we can still watcht it, together with the live telecast on TV. Though it was small, but nice. =)
Had a different kind of countdown this year. A quiet and home-filled New Year Countdown.

Coz hubby is leaving for Australia in 2 days time =(

Look carefully at the cake! It's filled with mango!! Not just plain vanilla sponge cake!
That's why I say it is worth it. And do put it in the freezer, it will make it taste even better =)

This was the cake to start with and the "tools" by the side.
She was sweet!! Coz she added $2 for me to add fruits to MY cake!!
But the amount of fruits was pathetic sia... And damn exp for $2.
Engrossed in my first artwork~~ Writing the words: "Happy 22nd Birthday".Yeah am 22 le =( Bidding farewell to 21... SAD SAD SAD... VERY SAD....

On our way to Orchard...
Had our lunch @ Lucky Plaza. At a chicken rice stall. Very nice chicken. =) Very yummy. This was where I used to eat when I was working at Ngee Ann City.

Hubby bought a Zara Men's top and levis jean, which cost a bomb *lol. Zara was having promo so the top was only $59.90 and the Levis Jean was $149, but after trading in with an old jeans from Zong, it costs only $99.90. =)
Zong also bought a Zara Men's top at $79.90.
Er Jie bought some shoes also!
And I bought a hot pink short skirt from Cotton-On at $5 only. *hahaz...

But too bad no benefits as it is a contract job. But the pay is good so still can cover abit. At least better than now over here, can't even get a single cent.

Gonna start work on 5 Jan!!!
And I'm working at JE only... The Synergy, one bus trip only, can even save on transportation cost! *heez....
Hope I can get a confirmation when the headcount is confirmed, and can convert to Perm! Most probably in March 2009.

Went to watch IP Man @ JP with Hubby, Elaine [my 2nd sis] and Zong [her BF].

The director of Dragon Tiger Gate makes his comeback with his usual star, Donnie Yen. As expected, the martial arts fighting scenes are amazing.
If you are a martial arts movie fan, this is definitely stunning and not to be missed. If you get entertained by any form of action and want to know the facts of Bruce Lee's master, this should also not be missed. Another good martial arts movie.

Dian Xiao Er at Jurong Point is the largest of the 7 outlets.We ordered the Healthy Set Meal. Per person less than $20 [incl. GST] and we're as if like eating Reunion Dinner. *LOL.
And I forgot how many course was it, but probably around 7 course, and all the food are really damn healthy, only got one meat and all the cooking style are steam or stir fry... *LOL

Went over to Haagan Daz for our after meal dessert.And we ordered the fondue!!! Yummy... Yummy.
*hahaz... We even requested for another plates of fruits coz we still have a little bit of chocolate left and *hehez... Need something for us to dip in the chocolate to finish it up.
And the peeps there were nice as they supplied us with a Fresh Plate of fruits .... FREE OF CHARGE.
But I guess the people there were quite shocked and initially did not even know how to react.
