Met up with Hubby at CityHall and had our lunch at New York New York. Hubby even help me get the Free Candy Floss *heez, feel like a small kid.
We went to shop around that area and to look for Bon's 22nd pressie as well, and got him 2 tops from Buffalo or smth like that.
Hubby 'pang sie' me, as I went to our 'Si Jia' reunion dinner cum Bon's 22nd bdae celebration alone. =(

Had an early reunion dinner and 'lao yu sheng' with Hubby's classmates from Kaplan on 23Jan, the day they went back to pay school fees, collect tb as well as to exchange the pictures taken in Adelaide.
They were the one who stayed together with HUbbyin the same house when they were over in Adelaide.
Fun bunch of people. Though a little too matured for me, not my click, coz most of them are earning at least $6/$7 k per mth and are married with kids!
The portion they ordered were really huge!
OH and it was at some Thai restuarant at Centrepoint.

The CNY cookies baking took place on 17Jan, but was too busy all the way, so no time to blog.
Surprisingly the cookies were really nice! Perhaps I can consider baking it and selling it online? But I think the amount of pineapple we put onto each tart is way too generous, but its for our own consumption so uits alright. =)

Perhaps its because I'm too bored without Hubby by my side.
First I blinged the 8GB Thumby he got me, ain't it nice? *hehez I mmsed him, but he couldn't receive MMS there =( So sad. So I emailed him, and he din object! *LOL.
Anyway I also done it le *hahaz. But he did say, anything Honey like, Hubby will like also. Was so scared he will growl at me saying:"Why is it pink again?" *Hahaz... =P Feel so happy. Xin Fu Xin Fu. =)

I went with my big bosses in 2 separate cars and we were actually the first few to reach, but we barred from entering as the committee were still doing up the place.So we went to find a comfortable place to settle ourselves and have a few drinks first.
See how empty the place was when we first reached.
Finally we were allowed in. The Director of APAC - Susan drawing her lots for her table, and she actually got to sit together with my Boss [Snr Mgr of Recruitmenet and Talent Services for APAC] - Millie!! So good, but I'm not bad too at least I got company with the Financial Accountant of APAC - Lily! =) At least with someone I know, I won't be bored for the rest of the night. *heez.
And this is how the toilet looks like. Real cute, actually I've been there before but never used the toilet *hehez. Its cute bcoz its open like a window, 2-sided and the lock inside is actually a wooden plank that you have to slide thru, something very old and antique. Wonder how they maintain it.
And this is when people started streaming in. And that's Takashi, the Project Manager from Japan in white on the right hand side of the picture. =)

Me and my buddy in the office - Doreen! BTW she's a CRA - Clinical Reseach Associate. =) Almost all in my office are graduates with a Science Degree. If anyone is in that line, perhaps you can look for me =)

*hahaz and that's where the food are!! And I'm lucky coz my table is just right beside the food.BTW, the photos are so hazy is all because of the smoke coming from the mosquito coil that the people there are burning. It's mosquito infested!! =P
This desert is really super delicious. I love it to the max. But I'm not sure what it is. My colleagues were actually saying it is coconut or something with the red ruby thingy.
The hunks of the night *LOL Actually they're the best dressed of the night, the mens category, chosen by all the rest of the colleagues, and guess who win? 
And here's the winner! Shyenne representing the Female category for the best dressed and Jean Paul for the Men category. He's actually the Medical Director for Central Lab and btw his hair is fake as it's actually a wig, and he actually put it on when he was on his way in the cab!! *LOL.

It just felt like any other day, no expressive announcement(s), flamboyantly celebration(s), nor VIP treatment(s), but it just felt extremely sad and lonely when Hubby is not around [he's down under]. =(But what really made the day special was the flurry of texts and calls from friends all, Facebook wall writings, presents and dinner treats. It was knowing people remember and care that it made for a Happy Birthday =)

Yes, It's finally 2 January 2009.
The day hubby flew off to Adelaide for his 2 weeks study stint @ his university.
Missing him damn much.
We set off from home at about 7pm as we were afraid of the Peak Hour traffic jam, but we're lucky, there was no jam at all. All the way until Keppel Road, when there was an accident.
We're supposed to go East Coast Park for dinner, but last minute changed to T3, as we're afraid it will be hard to get parking and seats at that hour and moreover its dinner time.
So we ended up having dinner at T3 Kopitiam. Zong and Er Jie came to join us later.
After dinner we walk around T3, where the shopping area is really disappointing, no wonder they need to promote NO GST gimmick to attract shoppers.
And we pei-ed Hubby till 10.30pm when he when into the gate and Bye Bye... sobz...
He's gonna be back only on 17 Jan. =(
